Coordinate college-wide DEIAB/social justice efforts and initiatives that enhance faculty, staff, students' understanding of cultural responsiveness in healthcare delivery, cross-cultural communication for welcoming climate and collegiate success; Develop/implement College’s Diversity-Equity-Inclusion Strategic Plan; administer the Intercultural Development Inventory to BSN students; Consult with UI Nursing faculty/staff regarding integration of DEI/social justice resources and materials for teaching/curriculum/service/research/programing; Co-chair, college's DEI Committee; Advise Multicultural Nursing Association; Coordinate Supplemental instruction/NEST Tutoring Program for pre-nursing and first year BSN students; Adjunct instructor for DEI for the Health Professions.
