Biography

Emily Griffin is a lecturer in the undergraduate pre-licensure program. Prior to this appointment she was part of faculty practice at the College of Nursing which included teaching and clinical practice. Emily completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Valparaiso University in 1995. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in rural health as a family nurse practitioner at Montana State University in 2000. In 2022 she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Iowa. She has been a family nurse practitioner since 2000 and practiced in a variety of settings including pain management, neurology, and primary care.
