Office for Nursing Research (ONR)
Welcome to the Office for Nursing Research! The ONR is located in the College of Nursing Building and operates under the joint auspices of the College of Nursing and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) Department of Nursing. It is a centralized resource with the overall goal of enhancing the research potential of College of Nursing faculty and the staff at UIHC.
This office acts as a liaison between College of Nursing faculty and staff and research opportunities within and outside the university and facilitates research and scholarship at the College of Nursing. The Office is overseen by the Associate Dean for Research and provides support to investigators by helping to develop programs of research, identifying sources of funding, and preparing grant applications of all types. The ONR also supports post-award management and research implementation and dissemination by offering assistance with research administration, data management and analysis, manuscript preparation and editing, and conference poster creation. In addition, faculty have access to the services of a professional editor, who works on a contract basis with the ONR.
