Research Focus:
The focus of my research is to understand Thai nurses use of evidence-based practice in the assessment and treatment of pain in older adults. My dissertation focuses specifically on identifying EBP in pain assessment and management and in uncovering barriers and facilitators of using EBP in Thailand. The end result of my study will be to create a culturally appropriate Thai, acute pain guideline based upon the standards set forth by Herr and colleagues (2006).
