Research Focus:

My research focuses on measuring and reducing pain and nocturnal awakening symptoms associated with carpal tunnel syndrome in older adult workers.  My program of research will encompass designing workplace interventions to help older adults return to work after an injury.

Currently, I am a graduate research assistant for Dr. Barb Rakel’s RO1: The Effectiveness of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) on Hyperalgesia, Pain with Movement, and Function After Total Knee Replacements.

Also, I’ve worked as a graduate research assistant on Dr. Rakel’s RO3: Effects of TENS on Knee Osteoarthritis Pain, Hyperalgesia, and Function.
