Assistant Professor Sandra Ramey, PhD, RN, specializes in research that investigates the relationships among Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) risk factors and CVD morbidity in large law enforcements cohorts—including the Milwaukee Police Department where she studies inflammatory markers of stress as well.

The Daily Iowan recently interviewed Dr. Ramey for her involvement in a study titled "The Effect of Work Shift and Sleep Duration on Various Aspects of Police Officers' Health."
