Officer Alton Poole, Crime Prevention Specialist with UI Campus Police, has developed a new safety presentation
called, Personal Safety – Self Protection. This is an excellent presentation that provides new
information and tips for your own self-protection. Officer Poole has graciously offered to present this at
the College of Nursing on Friday Sept. 28, 10-11 a.m., room 133 CNB. All faculty, staff and students are
welcome to attend. Just a note - this is a relatively new presentation, with not many showings thus far.
And, this is different than the VIST presentation (Violent Incident Survival Training), that Campus Police
have been offering via UI Learning and Development for quite some time.
