| Helping Meet the Need for More Nurses |

Nicole Petsas Blodgett will never forget her first patient, a middle-aged woman suffering from terminal colon cancer. “I didn’t think I would be strong enough to stay in the room with her as she died,” recalls Blodgett, at the time a nursing student working on a clinical rotation. “But being part of her life and then helping her husband deal with her death was an amazing experience. |
