Long-term care conference Nov. 13-14

The University of Iowa College of Nursing Adult and Gerontology Area of Study will host its 19th annual Long-term Care Conference at Hotel Vetro in downtown Iowa City, for professionals involved in long-term care.

A Leadership Workshop, Nov. 13, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. will address measures for improving facility performance and discuss the role of the caregiver in creating the future of long-term care.

The Long-term Care Conference, Nov. 14, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. will explore evidence-based practices related to pain and incontinence, as well as strategies for person-directed care.
