Sonja Lively, MA, RN
Sonja Lively is an Assistant Professor in the Systems and Practice Area of Study at the College of Nursing. Her BSN and MA in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing are from The University of Iowa. Her clinical experience has been in acute and long-term care as well as community facilities. She teaches Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing Practicum,and leads discussion groups in Communication for Health Professionals. Her research area of interest is impact of schizophrenia on families with an emphasis on siblings. She co-authored an evaluation tool in this area.
