Kennith R. Culp, PhD, RN, FAAN

Dr. Culp is a nurse epidemiologist who conducts clinical research related to elders, both in the community and in the health care system. He currently is funded from the National Institute for Aging to study delirium in long-term care elders. Specific areas in his program of gerontological research are hydration, renal disease, and cognitive functioning.

He is also interested in research related to modifying the workplace for older employees and injury prevention/health care for under-served worker populations. Dr. Culp is Core Director of the Occupational Health Nursing for the Heartland Education and Research Center for Occupational Health and Safety and holds a secondary appointment in the College of Public Health.

Dr. Culp is a Fellow in both the American Academy of Nursing and the Gerontological Society of America.
