Mary Berg, MSN, RN, ARNP

Mary Berg, MSN, RN, ARNP, CPNP, is a Lecturer at the College of Nursing, The University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. She is a member of the Parent, Child and Family Nursing Area of Study. She teaches undergraduate clinicals on a UIHC pediatric inpatient unit, and practices as a PNP in the UIHC Newborn and INtermediate Nurseries as well as a well child health clinic. Mary has served as project nurse coordinator and educator to the grant "A Comparison and the Effectiveness of a Pregnancy Prevention Demonstration Project for Youth Aged 9-14 in Rural Settings" (Perle Cowen, PI). She is active as second author writing teenage pregnancy prevention manuscripts and a CD-ROM program based on those research grant findings. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and is also an active member of The Nest of Johnson County and The Circle Program of Johnson County to assist troubled, pregnant, or parenting teens
