- What is your position in the CON? What do you do?
I am located in Student Services and work with the RN-BSN program.
- What is your most favorite part of your job, and why?
I like the population of the RN-BSN program. These are often working nurses with family and a busy life who are making the commitment to further their education. I find that very admirable.
- What did you do before you came to the CON?
I worked in the Department of Neurology with patients who had ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
- Where did you grow up? Tell us something about your childhood/hometown.
I grew up and still live in Washington, Iowa. My parents and my husband’s family all still live in Washington.
- Tell us about your family
I have been married to my husband, Fred, for 31 years. We have one son Austin, daughter-in-law April, and our twin grandbabies (Addy & Ben) were born March 12, 2012. Life is wonderful!
