The function of the Research Translation and Dissemination Core is to:

Coordinate research training of doctoral students and research scientists in functional and cognitive health status measurement, gerontological nursing interventions, and use of biostatistical methods in measuring the efficacy of gerontological nursing interventions; and

Disseminate scientific knowledge on functional and cognitive assessment and interventions to scientists, practitioners, and consumers.

Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines
There are currently 37 evidence-based nursing practice guidelines available for a nominal fee. Quick reference guides and consumer information sheets accompany some of our guidelines. Also, CD ROMs are now available for most guidelines.
