Gerontological Nursing Interventions Research Center (GNIRC)
The UI Gerontological Nursing Intervention Research Center (GNIRC), funded since 1994 by NINR, strengthens and expands intervention focused research in nursing and related disciplines regarding the health of elders in a variety of care settings.
Organized into the Administrative Core, Regional Training Core, Research Translation and Dissemination Core, and Research Methods Core, the GNIRC leads a variety of initiatives providing opportunities that lead to research that will improve the quality of life for older people.
