(Genetics) Postdoctoral Application

If you wish to apply please supply the following application materials:
- Short proposal (3-5 pages) of your intended or desired research or area of research interest. Please address how this research plan relates to genetic nursing, and, if possible, identify individuals with whom you wish to work. Identify learning objectives for the first year of work. The Co-directors will be happy to assist in identifying mentors and resources at The University of Iowa that will fit your research training goals.
- Current curriculum vita
- List of significant relevant publications if available and copies of 1-2 publications if relevant.
- Transcript of your doctoral work
- Three letters of reference addressing your scholarship, achievements, and research potential and commitment
- Letter of endorsement from sponsor (if known)
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or a non-citizen national of the United States, or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence (holding an alien registration card - I-151 or I-155 green card) at the time of application. An F-1, J-1, or H-1 visa status is not eligible for a traineeship.
Trainee selection will be made by a review committee upon receipt of the completed application. Applications for academic year (start dates of July 1 or later) should be received by May 15.
