The Eugene and Elsie Weyler Scholarship Fund

This fund was established in 1992, by Mr. and Mrs. Eugene J. Weyler of La Grange Park , Illinois . The initial gift was made in honor of the Weyler's granddaughter, Mrs. Melissa Compton, who graduated from the UI College of Nursing in 1989. The Weylers have no other ties to Iowa , but they felt very strongly about supporting the College of Nursing after the excellent education their granddaughter received.
