Scholarships by Alumni

Each fall and spring the Scholarship and Scholastic Committee in the College of Nusing awards many scholarships to students based on various criteria such as class year, program of study, scholastic achievement, area of professional interest, or demonstration of financial need. Last year we awarded over 25 scholarships to 100+ students for a distribution of more than $400,000 in scholarship aid.

Applications are available to currently enrolled students.

The following scholarships are made available by the generosity of our alumni, friends, benefactors and donors:

Dr. G.P. Reed Master's in Nursing Health Practice Scholarship	Students in the MSN:CNL program	This scholarship is in memory of the grandfather of Dr. Reed Benhamou, Dr. G.P. Reed. Dr.
Dr. Jan L. Lee College of Nursing Scholarship	A student in the College of Nursing who is in financial need. A FAFSA is required.	Dr.

Ellen L. Anderson Scholarship Fund	A student in the College of Nursing, with preference being given to undergraduate students from I	Mrs. Ellen L. Anderson is a native of Creston, Iowa.
Evelyn McCann Student Financial Aid Fund	Be an undergraduate or graduate student in the College of Nursing; must demonstrate financial nee	This scholarship was established by the late Miss Evelyn McCann of West Liberty, Iowa.
Gladys Benz Pediatric Nursing Memorial Scholarship Fund	A licensed nurse in the graduate programs with an interest in pediatrics, demonstrate academic me	The scholarship was established in memory of Ms.
Grace Keeffer Clark Scholarship	Must have completed the first year in the College of Nursing, have one year of course work remain	Private support for this scholarship is being provided from the will of Mrs.
