Lori Mein (DNP ’12) was recently selected to present at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing’s upcoming DNP Innovation Institute.

The Institute will feature the significant contributions of DNP-educated nurses on improving health care and clinical practice and illustrate how to make an idea sustainable by highlighting innovative evidence-based projects that solve real-world problems and improve patient care.

Mein, who graduated from UI this past July, will be presenting on her capstone project, “Improving the Treatment of Patient’s Tobacco Use by Primary Care Providers and Staff in a Family Practice Setting.”

The DNP Innovation Institute will take place Friday, September 21, at the Continuing Education and Conference Center in Saint Paul, MN.
