BSN - Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Prerequisite Info
In order to be considered for admission to the undergraduate BSN program, the student must have completed, or be in the process of completing all of the following prerequisites:
Minimum High School Requirements:
1) A minimum of four years of high school English
2) Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry
3) A minimum of three years of Science, including:
a. One year of Biology
b. One year of Chemistry
c. One half year of Physics
4) At least two years of the same foreign language
5) A minimum of three years of social studies
College prerequisites:
1) Rhetoric - 4- 8 s.h. This may be satisfied by testing for advanced standing.
2) Animal Biology (002:002)
3) Microbiology (061:164 or 061:157)
4) Human Anatomy (060:110)
5) Psychology (031:001)
7) Human Development & Behavior (096:030)
8) General Chemistry I (004:007)
All prerequisites must be completed prior to beginning classes in the College of Nursing.
