DNP - Prerequisite Information

An upper-level, statistics course needs to be completed within five (5) years of the upcoming application deadline. Acceptable University of Iowa courses are as follows: 22S:101 (STAT:3510), 07P:143 (PSQF:5143) 22S:102 (STAT:5543), or 171:161 (BIOS:5110). Equivalent courses from other colleges will be accepted as well. Please use the Transfer Courses section of ISIS to find equivalents:

Persons may enter a program of study for the Doctor of Nursing Practice with a bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
