- Author of numerous publications on interventions to pressure ulcers; implementation of skin/wound care protocols; and pressure ulcer assessment and treatment
- Served as a member of AHCPR panel that developed national guidelines for pressure ulcer prevention and treatment

- Wound care including assessment; differentiating chronic wounds; and treatment modalities,
